Stacy & Mike had a gorgeous wedding this weekend- I just had to post some of the photos today so all of their wonderful friends and family can get a sneak peek! The rest of the photos will be up early next week- you can access them by clicking on “View Proofs” from our home page at the top right corner- that will take you to the next page where you can click on “Wedding Prints”. From there, a new page will open and prompt you for an event name and date. Type in “Gorski Tripp Wedding” and the date of 9/27/08. The password for this event is “tripp” in all lowercase letters. If you are attempting to log in before 10/6/08- just type in your e-mail address and we’ll notify you when the photos are ready!
Each wedding that we photograph has something unique about it, and I would have to say that Stacy & Mike’s families win the award for being the sweetest and most gracious that we’ve worked with! Thank you for that- it makes my job so rewarding! Also- if you’re checking our our blog and you have a wedding or event coming up, be sure to check out their DJ, he did a great job as well- http://www.rhythmakersdjs.com.
Enjoy the preview!!!
So, my little guy just had his tonsils out last week. I really didn’t want to do it, I mean it’s MAJOR surgery- but he’s had sleep apnea since he was a baby and we still have never had a good night’s sleep…and he snores…and his throat is always sore….and the list goes on & on, so basically…it was time to do it. BUT, I have to say, nobody really told me how HARD it was going to be afterwards! But he is recovering well, and some sticker books came in the mail from Nana yesterday, so we were all set for the evening! I just had to snap a few shots of “the recovery” for my scrapbook!! Here they are…and big brother has been so incredibly patient and sweet too- good thing he makes such a good playmate!!

This little guy was so incredibly patient and laid back while we jostled him around taking his pictures for almost 4 hours =) Besides being an incredibly beautiful baby, “L” is a long awaited gift to his parents and so *very* much loved. I am so excited to show off the rest of the images we got…there were so many good ones I couldn’t pick which ones to put up!! Enjoy the preview…..

With summer officially over, I was reminiscing about all the fun stuff we did this year, and I came across these pics we took on our “mini vacation” last month. It was soooo much fun!!! Now that school is back in full swing, that feeling of childhood summers gone by has left me….but I sure am glad I have such fun loving boys to share it with for many more summers to come! Now if the heat would just go away……

Doesn’t she have the most perfect little baby belly? I love it! This session was for a good friend of mine, and I am sooooo excited to come back in a few weeks to meet the new arrival and take some more photos!!! Thanks for letting me be a part of such a special time for you all!!!

Here are some of my favorite shots from last Saturday’s wedding…Corey & Tamera tied the knot at Manatee Historical Village underneath the canopy of trees in the old village. It was so gorgeous- perfect weather, perfect setting- and their big wedding party made for lots of fun! David and I had a great time with this group. Thanks again to Angel Span at Moments By Angel- she is truly a wedding planner extraordinnaire!! If you’ve got a wedding coming up with us, you might want to consider utilizing her expertise to plan your big day. Just ask!

Okay, okay….I FINALLY took some photos of my own family!!! You would be surprised at how I have skimped on their photos since I opened my studio! By the way, my eyes are NOT closed in this photo- it just so happens that the pixels on my blog program are working in overdrive right over my face. Geez!!!
Anyway here we are- this is my attempt at a family beach portrait with nobody behind the lens- using the camera’s handy dandy timer. Not too bad, considering I have two wiggly little boys wh0 didn’t have anything entertaining to look at except my tripod!! We took a much needed family vacation to Melbourne Beach a few weeks ago, and had a blast watching the sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach and we even got to see the hatchling turtles erupt from the sand and run out into the ocean under the full moon- it was absolutely amazing! I’d love to go back every year and re-do our portraits there….

This lovely couple is getting married at Durante Park on Longboat Key this fall, so we headed out there for an engagement session last week to try out the place! Well, they are actually already “technically” married, but they are re-enacting the ceremony so friends and family can attend. We got some great shots during our session, and they were so easy to work with. I am so happy for you guys, and I hope to get the pleasure of working with you again on your big day =) Here are a few of my favorite shots:
